Join us on Friday June 17th in celebrating the Ottawa River Canoe Club's 20th Anniversary by roasting its founders, Bevin and LA Schmidt. Founded in 2002, the ORCC has offered an ever expanding selection of both recreational and competitive programs to the West Ottawa community. With 20 years of success now under its belt and with exciting plans for the future of the ORCC in the works; now is the perfect time to come together and celebrate the amazing community we have created. 

Hosted at the Loch March Golf & Country Club, guests will enjoy a reception and buffet dinner. Given that LA and Bevin Schmidt have dedicated so much of their life to the club, it is only fitting that we take some time and honour them with a lighthearted roast. At around 8:30PM everyone is invited to show off their dance skills regardless of whether you're an Elaine or a Beyonce!

This event is open to past and present ORCC members and participants!

Registration Instructions:

  • An account is required to register 
  • Anyone who has not used an ORCC account since before Feb 1st, 2022 will need to create a new account (as this is a new website with a new system) 

Cost:

  • $57.52 + HST = $65.00

Schedule:

  • 5:30PM: Reception & Cocktails
  • 7:00PM Dinner (Buffet)
  • 8:30PM Dance Party

Credit Card & Cancellation Policy

Credit Card Policy

  • ORCC offers a variety of payment methods such as e-transfer, credit card, and PayPal.   However, credit card/PayPal transactions cost the club thousands of dollars every year.  In an effort to keep program pricing reasonable, we ask those participants who wish to pay by credit card or PayPal to ensure you also pay the credit card/PayPal convenience fee to help offset the costs to the club. No convenience fee is charged for electronic transfers to treasurer@orcc.ca

Cancellation Policy

Please be aware of the ORCC Cancellation Policy:

  • Program registration cancellations which are received two weeks prior to the start of the program will receive a full refund less the $15 non-refundable administration fee.
  • No refunds are available within two weeks of the start of the program or once the program has started; a prorated credit only will be issued.
  • In the case of injury or illness, a medical certificate may be required, and refunds will only be offered as camp fee prorated credit to be used for a future ORCC camp or program registration.
