Join the ORCC's winter Intro to Competition program where participants have the opportunity to continue their athletic development through a variety of activities ranging from strength training to cross country skiing. The program will run 3 days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays.

Participants in the fall and winter I2C program will also have the opportunity to participate in a number of social activities such as paintball, fright night at Saunders Farm and much more. The training schedule is as follows: 

General Dates:

Session 1: Oct 24 - Dec 21

Session 2: Jan 9 - April 23 (after which we will return to the water)

Tuesdays (Inside)

  • South March Public School 
  • 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM
  • Strength training and conditioning with coach Andrea

Thursdays (Outside)

  • Richcraft Recreation Centre - meet inside the main doors
  • 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM
  • Aerobic training with Joel

Saturdays

  • Various locations: will be confirmed at the start of the week
  • 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM 
  • Cardio/cross-country skiing with Joel
    • Athletes will need their own set of X-Country skis - limited supply will be available for rent by the ORCC
