Youth Dragon Boat Team
Every year the ORCC enters a number of teams into the annual Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival (ODBF) which will be taking place over the weekend of June 22 & 23. This year the ORCC hopes to enter at least two youth crews. If you have a youth between the aged 13 - 17 interested in joining the ORCC youth crew please view the details below prior to registering.

Program Cost:

- Entry to ODBF Races
- Access to the ODBF grounds, concerts, etc
- Team the week before the race where everyone will also have the opportunity to tie dye a t-shirt to wear when racing

- Food for purchase on the festival grounds

Practice Times
- Monday May 27, June 3, 10, and 17 from 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM.
- If you are interested in joining but holding off because you are unable to attend a couple of practices, fear not! As long as you make an effort to attend as many practices as you can, we will make sure you're ready for race weekend!
***PARENTS: Interested in being in adult DB crew? Reach out to Anita at dragonboat@orcc.ca and she will get you set up in the ORCC adult crew!
Prerequisite
- Aged 13 - 17 (below 18)
- No competitive experience is required although all participants should have some paddling experience whether that be at an ORCC camp or outside the ORCC.

Please follow the following steps to register for the ORCC Youth DB crew:

- You will also be requested to fill out the ODBF waiver on their website at a later time. More information on this will be communicated to you by the ORCC.
