About Our Camps
At the Ottawa River Canoe Club, our summer camps offer more than just kids paddling camps—they're a gateway to adventure, confidence, and lifelong friendships. For over 20 years, we've welcomed young paddlers to experience the joy of canoe / kayak in a safe, supportive environment.
Our welcoming coaches create a nurturing atmosphere where every child feels valued, whether they're picking up a paddle for the first time or refining their technique. We believe in building skills through play, exploration, and connection to nature.

A Camp on the Beautiful Ottawa River
Our riverfront location on the Ottawa River gives young paddlers the space to learn, explore, and grow. While many days are calm, the occasional big-wave days add a burst of excitement—campers love the challenge, and it’s a great way to build balance, resilience, and confidence on the water. With a wide range of boats suited for every kind of day, each paddler can find the right level of fun and skill progression.
The surrounding landscape creates an inspiring outdoor setting where campers stay active, engaged, and connected to nature. Whether they’re learning new strokes, riding fun waves, or playing games with friends, the Ottawa River is a vibrant and unforgettable part of their summer experience.
