What Is Masters?

Paddle 4 life promotes fitness and paddling for adults of all ages. The masters program offers participants extensive time in single and crew boats to develop their balance and technical skills alongside our highly experienced coaches. Paddlers also learn how to paddle in rough conditions with our surf skis and outriggers. When the water is especially rough participants will go out in our OC6 and surf the waves.

The option to sprint race will be available at various local regattas and at the Canadian Masters Championships (CANMAS) being held this year in Darthmouth, NS on August 27th, 2023.

Participants also have the opportunity to put the skills they've developed throughout the season to the test at the annual Ottawa River Paddle Challenge (ORPC). Details regarding the ORPC will be released at a later date.
