Join us on the River!

The Paddle for Life, 55+, paddling program is our commitment to supporting the well-being of adults in our community. A program tailored to provide people 55+ a unique opportunity to engage in physical activity while surrounded by the natural beauty of our riverfront location.

At its core, the Paddle For Life 55+ paddling program is about more than just paddling – it’s about empowering you to lead active and fulfilling lives.

  • Transfer system on the dock to assist people in safely entering and exiting the boat
  • Wheelchair accessible dock
  • Ergonomic seat cushions can be provided for additional comfort
  • 1-handed paddles and hand wraps to securely wrap hands to paddles for individuals with limited dexterity.
  • Lightweight paddles
  • All-terrain wheelchairs
  • Kind and supportive volunteers to act as a safety person, on and off the water.
  • Trained and capable staff to support transfers in and out of the boats
  • No heavy lifting is necessary! Staff and volunteers can prepare the equipment and have the boats on the dock ready for you ahead of time.

  • Program registration cancellations which are received two weeks prior to the start of the program will receive a full refund less the $15 non-refundable administration fee.
